Here is a delayed update on my net worth. Looks like it’s been a few months since I’ve done one of these.
Let’s get the easy stuff out of the way…Liabilities sit at $0.00. Easy enough.
That means assets (I define as just financial-i.e. not including house, cars, etc) is equal to my net worth sits at $978,125.70 as of 9.1.2017. This represents an increase for the year of 12.49% over 2016 or a difference of $108,593.49 with just a few months to go. Again, assets counted in my definition of net worth include 401(k)s, IRA-traditional and roth, brokerage accounts, Health Savings Account, bank account, and cash in my wallet. Most investments are just plain and simple stock holdings. For more info on my investment style, browse through my site.
The cool thing is that I’m within $22k of hitting that first official million/7 digits. I’m hoping to hit my second 7 digits within the next 10 years or by age 48.
Below is my net worth tracked and graphed out since 1999 (when I was in college).
How is everyone’s net increase for the year? Hopefully heading in the right direction.Follow me on the social medias:
