This is a monthly post showing the daily fluctuations of roughly 95% of my portfolio. This is what I would consider my main investment accounts, the others are not worth the time to figure into the equation from a time perspective.
Looking at the month of May, we see that this portion of my portfolio decreased overall $50,807.60 for the month, or a loss of $@,309.44 per trading day. This snaps a 4 month win streak in 2019.
The portfolio had a the high point at -$6,587.86 on 5/3/2019. The low point was on 5/31/2019 at -$50,807.60. The portfolio started in the hole and stayed there all month. There was a maximum 4 days straight losing streak. Meanwhile, the best win streak for the month was at 4 days.
Worst losing day was on 5/13/2019 for -$14,677.85. Single biggest gain day occurred on 5/3/2019 at $7,422.57.
Number of days with a loss of greater than $10,000 sits at 1 day. Number of days with gains of greater than $10,000 was 0.
The absolute value column is to show the average daily fluctuation the portfolio is experiencing regardless of a gain or loss. This figure shows each trading day of the month, $5912.90, was the average absolute daily fluctuation I experienced (about $2200 daily higher than April 2019).
